Eddie Glenn tests this with small animals. He is horrified to learn it’s true beyond the sign is “End Life”. But why? And what exactly causes this accelerated death? With growing dread, Eddie Glenn begins to think that the bowled section of land—a decompression chamber between life and death—is connected to something too big for him. Something with gravity, time and reach. Something for which the human mind is not primed to understand.

When Eddie discovers an abusive neighbor, a man whom he considered a friend, he begins to see patterns representative of chaos and disorder in his life, begins to feel the gravitational pull of the spot beyond the sign. He begins to think that their street, which was completed 20 years after the rest of the residential development, had been built to hold something back. He has no idea what happens to living things that go beyond the sign, into the Great Gulf, but with a target that he considers morally valueless, Eddie Glenn means to find out.

Great story, unfortunately, I already read and own it under the title Old Dirt Road. I don't like it when an author/publisher puts out the same story under a different title. I understand that they are trying to increase sales, but, I think it's a very dishonest way of doing it. Again it is a good and spooky story that kept me thinking long after I was done, but I can only recommend it once :)Product details

I very much enjoyed this book and will be looking forward to more from this author I love the genre!
